Carlo's portraits and landscapes are a mix of digital and traditional media.
He uses the optical effects that he learned from digital art in his traditional canvas paintings. He also prints digital sketches on canvas and completes the portrait with brush and acrylics.
All his work, whether on computer pad* or canvas, is done freehand, not by photo manipulation.

About Carlo
Carlo G. Carlucci is an ex-monk, and an ex-Professor of Sacred Theology and Classical Languages, a spouse of 35 years, a grandfather, an artist, and probably a little crazy.
He has published several books of cartoons and two prize-winning picture books for children. His landscape and portrait commissions grace homes in the United States, Europe and Asia.
In the last decade, Carlo has had six highly successful one-person exhibits, each a benefit for a different charity.
Carlo retired in 2009. He is using his time to enjoy his family, his friends, his library, and his garden.
